+/–  

The "+/–" button determines whether a signal is triggered on the ascending part of the waveform (+) or descending part (–). If the button is off, the ascending part is detected, otherwise the descending part is detected and used. This setting is independent of the manual or automatic trigger level setting (independent of the "At/Norm" button and the "Level" control).
