JOTA-JOTI 2025
What an incredible JOTA-JOTI weekend! Another fantastic event. Many scouts made their very first QSOs, while others who joined us last year got another chance to enjoy the magic of radio. What really stood out was their amazing enthusiasm and eagerness to take part. Seeing the younger generation light up with smiles as they chatted with radio amateurs and fellow scouts was simply priceless.
We want to give a big, heartfelt thank you to these scout groups: Zurrieq Scout Group – The Scout Association of Malta, San Gwann Scout Group , Tarxien Scout Group, St. Michael School Scout Group, 1st Qormi Scout Group – The Scout Association of Malta, and St. Aloysius’ College Scout Group. Despite our limited human resources, we’re thrilled we could support so many groups this year. Next year, we hope even more radio amateurs will join us to help reach and inspire even more scouts.
A huge shoutout goes to our dedicated volunteer radio amateurs: Stephane 9H2WB, Anthony 9H5FA, Dominic 9H1M, Albert 9H5AP, Lee 9H2LM, Andrew 9H2AV, Ezechiel 9H2EZ and finally a special mention to Sarah 9H2ST, one of Malta’s youngest licensed radio amateurs, who single-handedly built her own antenna, set up her gear, and put her scout group on the air. To say we’re incredibly proud of her is an understatment!
And last but not least, thanks to all radio amateurs worldwide who supported scouts during JOTA JOTI with their time and passion. You all helped make this event unforgettable.
